WELCOME !

The Williamsburg Internet Association was formed to provide education and support to area Internet users and people who want to learn about the Internet. New members are always welcome, but membership is not required to attend the meetings. Monthly meetings start with sessions for both beginners and advanced users. Each meeting will then highlight a guest speaker who will demonstrate a special feature of the Internet to all attendees.

This organization will attempt to inform and educate Internet users of every level of experience. Anyone who is thinking about connecting to the Internet is also encouraged to come and ask questions. If nothing else, we will provide a time and a place for Internet users to meet face to face and exchange ideas and information.

If you are a new to the WIA, you are welcome to attend a meeting as our guest. Then, if you like what you see, you can join the WIA by the filling out the form below and returning it with your payment of $10 annual dues (please make checks payable to Williamsburg Internet Association).

You will find the WIA to be a valuable resource for Internet users of every level of expertise. Beginners will find the help they need to get started. Experienced users will appreciate the way it helps them keep up with new developments in the Internet. Users of all levels will benefit from the guest speakers, demonstrations, exchange of ideas and just simply meeting face-to-face with scores of other Internet users each month.

The WIA serves the Virginia Peninsula. If you are in Tidewater, we suggest that you look into the Hampton Roads Internet Association.
